Jo Brewis graduated from Oxford Brookes University in 2003 with a degree in Osteopathy.  Since then she has worked in clinics in Napton, Milton Keynes, Rugby and Coventry.  I now solely,  work from a clinic on the side of my house in Rugby.  I am registered with the General Osteopathic Council and a member of the Institute of Osteopathy, whom I currently have my insurance through.

As well as offering manual therapy I am also qualified to use ultrasound and dry needling. Therapeutic ultrasound is where high frequency sound waves are passed into the tissue through the medium of gel or water, this should be a painless procedure.  Ultrasound stimulate the blood flow, collagen producing cells and speed up transmission of substances across cell membranes speeding up the healing process.

Dry needling or western acupuncture is used to relieve pain, by reduced pain signals from your nerves to your brain and stimulating natural pain relieving substances.

In 2019 I completed APPI level 1 Pilates, and in 2022 I completed APPI level 2 to enable  me to give Pilates exercises on a 1:1 and small group basis.
